This is hands down the best tasting lamb you will ever eat: close grained, tender, with very mild fat and an excellent meat to bone ratio. For the first time since we began breeding sheep in 2012, we are able to sell premium USDA slaughtered meat by the cut. For 2018 CSA customers, we are offering pre-packed lamb boxes with a selection of frozen, labeled and shrink wrapped cuts.

Customers can choose from three options: Easy Dinner, Party Pack, and Mixed Bag. This special offer is currently limited to one of each box per CSA customer, however we are also taking reservations for Spring/Summer lamb by the whole animal. We currently have 10 lamb available.

For whole animals we charge $6/lb hanging/carcass weight. Hanging weights generally range from 30-40bs, and will yield approximately 20-30lbs of packaged meat. Cost ranges from $180-$240, not including butcher fees. Invoices are generated when we receive hanging weights from the butcher. Once the animals are at the butcher, you’ll need to call in your cutting instructions. Fees can range from $.75-$2/lb depending on cuts and are paid to the butcher when you pick up the meat.

We ask for a $100 deposit per whole animal. Lamb boxes are packed in the order payment is received and will be available for pick-up on farm beginning February 1st. If meat is not available, we will put you on our waiting list and contact you regarding the next processing date. We plan for another batch of lambs to be available in June of 2018.
