About Our Meat
Growing meat is all about growing grass. We strongly believe that animals need 
access to pasture and greenery to live complete and healthy lives. While we have delved into raising lamb in recent years, we are now solely focusing on pasture raised chicken.
From day one, the chicks are outside. We purchase RedBro Broilers from a hatchery back east and when they arrive they are quickly made comfortable in their outdoor brooder.
Once old enough, they are given larger access to grass and are rotated every day
in order to ensure ample access to worms, bugs, and fresh green shoots. They have plenty of room to run and fly and can often be found demolishing garden plots.
You can buy your bird(s) by sending your order with a $10 deposit. Technically, due to state regulations, we are selling you the live bird. We take them to Harrington’s for processing and at pick-up figure the balance owed.
